What a Christmas we had. We woke up to a blizzard outside and no power in our house, and since we are in the basement it was very dark and cold. I ran around trying to find every candle and oil lamp I owned before Taylor woke up so that she could see her presents. We borrowed a big camping lantern that worked just fine for Taylor. She could have cared less if we could see or not. We thought about waiting to open presents until the power came back on, but there was no way Taylor was going to wait. So we opened presents around the lantern. The power came back on about 1 1/2 hours after we opened presents, so then we made a big breakfast and enjoyed the rest of the day. My mom and dad came up for Christmas so it was fun to have them here. It will be a Christmas we won't forget for a while.
Taylor's main present was a doll house, which you can see in the background of the picture.

Carson just pulling a cheesy smile for me.

A real glass tea set from Aunt Keri.

Taylor in her new pajamas

These are the presents they got from Uncle Ryan and Aurora. They both love what they got. Taylor got a little beauty salon and Carson got a tractor.

I hope you are recovering okay from surgery...SO hard I bet to not hold Carson. What a fun Christmas!
HEy, Ellie also got that same doll house for chirstmas, so cute! Your daughter is beautiful. I loved her crimped hair in church today.
If you need to borrow a copy of Napoleon Dynamite anytime soon, let me know!
Right now I am here for the long haul. It would take a lot for them to send me home, so if you want to come visit, come anytime. I am in room 318 in the Women's Center at the Intermountain hospital in Murray.
A doll house!! I'm jealous! I can't believe your guys's power went out! It hardly even snowed over here in Taylorsville! It sounds like maybe it was kinda fun though!
