Goodbye diapers, bottles, and binki!!

Goodbye pull-ups!! Taylor had still been wearing pull ups to bed at night because I couldn't really teach her to wake up and go potty. Well about a month ago I bought a new package of pull ups thinking they were the ones I had always bought. When she went to bed that night with one on she of course did her business in it right away. She came running to me asking me to put a new one on and I asked her why, she said it felt really cold. I looked at the package of pull ups and it said "Cold sensation when wet" right on the front. I told her she would just have to not potty in them and they wouldn't feel funny. Well it's been a month now and she now wears panties to bed and has not had an accident. She is so proud of herself and I'm happy too, I don't have to spend money on pull ups now. My mom kept telling me that she would learn to wake up to go potty when she was ready, and she was right because she did it all by herself (with a little help from Huggies)!!
Now Carson had a breakthrough as well. He does not have is bottle or binkie anymore. I went to give him a bottle about a week ago and he just threw it down. I tried a couple different times and he did the same thing, so I just stopped trying and he hasn't cared. His binkie on the other hand got lost and since Carson is 14 months old I decided it could just stay lost. He had a couple of really rough nights but I think it was more teething issues than no binkie. He has slept through the night the past 2 nights so I think we're on a roll.
