4th of July Reunion

I took the kids (Travis had to stay and work) and headed to Monticello for the 4th of July and went to the Black Family Reunion. We camped out at the Dude Ranch which is just gorgeous. It was Carson's first time camping and he did pretty good. The first night he woke up screaming but it was freezing cold that night so I think that is why he woke up. We were in the parade on the Black Family float. Taylor got to throw a lot of candy to all the kids, so she thought that was a blast. We camped for 3 nights and by then it was time to go home, but we all had a lot of fun.

This same deer was outside of our tent every morning. I was surprised how close Taylor was able to get.

This was Carson before the 4-wheeler ride........

and this is halfway through the ride. We ended up on kind of a rocky path and I couldn't drive with just one hand, so I zipped Carson in my jacket and he slept through the rest of the ride.

Taylor has been so scared of the 4-wheeler for the last year, but we finally convinced her that we would go slow. She rode with NaNa of course, and after that she didn't want to stop riding.

Taylor and Sierra had so much fun playing together. They were sitting there planting a garden in front of our tent. When they got bored of doing that Taylor decided she wanted to play cops, so she tried to put Sierra under arrest and poor Sierra didn't know what was going on.

Carson is a typical boy that likes to play in the dirt and rocks.

Oh that looked like so much fun. We Definitely need to go camping when Joe gets a little bigger. We still haven't had the chance to bust our cool tent that we got for Christmas from the Barrett's!

The cutest blog ever! It's so nice to be in contact with you again. Your family is ADORABLE! Hope you guys are doing well. We probably will see you around when preschool starts. I bet you can't wait for that. Taylor will love it too.
